JC, or the Department of Justice and Care, was created in 2022 by GBI Toronto, a local Indonesian youth church to engage our church in alleviating some of Toronto’s worst humanitarian challenges. JC also strives to grow the hearts of Christ within our youths. We also hope to reflect the image and likeness of Christ in our volunteers for Torontonians to witness.

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed, To proclaim the favorable [Jubilee] year of the Lord.” – Luke 4:18-19 (NASB)

In just a couple of years, we have seen God’s work within our church and our local community. We are excited to see more in the coming years.

We are also fundraising by offering merchandise, with all profits dedicated to the Lord’s work.

Something else we can always do is to give away our clean/unused clothes and items to many who may need them during hot summers, or cold winters. Examples include: Winter boots, sleeping bags, winter jackets, long johns, hats, t-shirts, etc.
